Our approach to data management is based on traditional methods developed over many years, standardized to take maximum advantage of new developments in technology to permit scalability, while maintaining transparency. From establishing the study database to the initiation of automated or manual data entry, the primary goal of our data management program is to facilitate analysis while identifying and correcting potential errors that stem from protocol issues or related features of a given study. Analyzing and reporting descriptive statistics on an ongoing basis, documenting and recording all changes in the raw database on a fixed schedule prior to lock, regular and “ultra-redundant” back-ups, archiving and storing the original data in multiple formats and locations both on and offline, and handchecking the final database are some of the many steps our data management team takes to ensure that the results of our work and the efforts of our clients and partners are accurate and meaningful.
