The PANSS Institute
The PANSS Institute (TPI) was established by the developers of the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale clinicians, scientists, and psychometricians to aid researchers, care givers, and community groups working with populations suffering from mental illness worldwide. TPI trains and educates clinicians and community care providers in patient assessment and treatment efficacy in order to improve mental health outcomes. We also seek to further the quality and the quantity of psychiatric research with an emphasis on novel approaches, evidence based medicine, local relevance, and integrating results into current practice.TPI obtained 501c3 nonprofit status in 2012 and is organized exclusively for educational, research and charitable work. We offer a variety of services, which include the following:
- Training and certification in psychometric assessment
- Research and practice consultation
- Scale translation and adaptation
- Continuing education and development
