Research and Practice Consultation

TPI provides research guidance and opportunities for collaboration. Many of TPI’s employees and affiliates have primary appointments at universities, institutes, and clinics and hospitals in the United States and worldwide and conduct studies in a wide range of areas including: global mental health, psychiatry, psychometrics, prenatal exposures, and stigma. Studies are conceptualized within social, ecological, developmental, and cultural contexts; often involve multiple levels of analysis; and use mixed methods that combine quantitative and qualitative approaches. Findings are presented at national and international conferences through posters, workshops and symposia, and publications in peer-reviewed journals.Practice consultation is also available to help integrate evidence-based practices and psychiatric assessments into current regimens, or to augment existing practices, and to improve interview technique to suit a target population or desired result. At this time, TPI does not provide funding for projects. Our grant writing team is available to assist in locating funding sources and to craft grant proposals for promising projects. If you have any questions related to Research and Practice Consultation, please utilize the contact form.
